Hayley Orantia is an American actress, musician and acrobat. She is best known as Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy program "The Goldbergs". However, she considers herself to be primarily as a musician. Music has always been her first love. When she reached the age of 12 the music she was playing took an adolescent turn and she began professional training. In 2013, she took up songwriting and recorded her debut album. And the rest is history. Orrantia, born in America, has Hispanic heritage. Despite the fact that she only spoke English throughout her childhood and not been to Mexico Orrantia feels extremely proud of her Hispanic origins. She endeavours to maintain it through learning to speak Spanish as well as writing songs using the Spanish language. The singer recorded a Spanish version of a track entitled 'Hasta Verte. Orrantia performed for The X Factor during its inaugural season, which aired in the summer of 2011. Orrantia was the winner of the initial season of The X Factor after she submitted an YouTube audition video. The judge gave her four "yes" vote from the judge during the live stage audition in Seattle. Originally auditioning as a soloist, she and three female singers were put with three other singers for the last auditions of "Hollywood Week". The live performances were held during the week of 5th.
