Summer Bishil

Summer Bishil is an American actress best known for her performance as Margo Hanson on the Syfy the fantasy-based drama 'The Magicians' (2015-present). She was previously a Lebanese American teenager, Jasira Maoun (13 years old) which is the protagonist of an unsettling life within the backdrop of U.S. invasion of Iraq in the Gulf War, in Alan Ball's film "Towelhead", gained her fame. In the following year, she was selected as one of 'Variety's 10 actors to watch' in 2007. For the film Crossing Over she played Taslima Jhangir. The film also received her nomination for an award in the Independent Spirit Award category for "Best Female Lead". She has also acted in films such as 'Mooz-lum", 'The Last of the Airbender"', 'Pop star' as well as 'Under The Silver Lake as well as various guest roles on TV, apart from playing the co-lead role in the film 'Lucky Seven'.
