Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in the US for the past 40 years. She is most famous for her role as Ginger Grant (in the 60s television show Gilligan's Island). Her stage work began in the 1950s with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. In the 1950s, she appeared as a stage artist in several Broadway shows before gaining her way into national fame with the release of Li'l Abner' in 1957. She released her album It's too late for Tina the same year. Louise started her Hollywood career in 1958, as she played Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre a dramatic film. The film was a massive hit and Louise received her the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York in the same time and was Lee Strasberg's teacher. The next notable role she played as Ginger Grant, which CBS signed her up to play in the year 1964. Louise Balfour continued to successfully juggle between Broadway and Hollywood acting as a sombre character against her famous image as an attractive doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series starred her as SG-1's Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years she also became a well-known director for popular TV shows such as Supernatural as well as The 100. Born in Essex, Ontario on 29th August in 1965. The family moved to Toronto at the age of three. She spent her childhood in Toronto and through her teenage years. Her home was in Vancouver after she was selected for the role of Samantha Carter.
