Zoe-perry

Perry is a Chicago native who was born to Laurie Metcalf and Jeff Perry. On the ABC sitcom Roseanne (as seen by flashback) Her mother portrayed Jackie Harris in two of Perry's initial TV roles. In fear of stress, her parents did not want to see her pursue acting before she reached the age of 18. Perry shy and shy for acting in high school, started to act at Northwestern University because she wanted to meet new people. Perry was a graduate of Boston University moved to New York in search of TV roles. She landed small parts on shows such as Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Then, homelessness drove her to California to find theater work. Perry was a part of Broadway in The Other Place with her mother in 2013. She appeared in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize winner Anna Christie and Kevin McKidd. This was presented at West Los Angeles' Odyssey Theatre Ensemble. In the year 2016, Perry appeared on nine episodes of ABC's thriller The Family. In 2017 she had her own recurring part on her own ABC political thriller Scandal with her father. In the same year, her character was cast a young character of Mary Cooper (Sheldon Cooper's mother) in Young Sheldon, a spin-off of the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory again as a teen character of her mom's. She got the part by auditioning for an open role despite having a connection to this role.
