Ali MacGraw
Elizabeth Alice MacGraw better known as Ali MacGraw is an award-winning American model actor author designer and animal rights activist. The actress has won praise for her roles in films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969) as well as The Getaway, (1972). The desire to become an artist was in part influenced by her family background as a member of a New York family of artists. While working as an assistant to photographers She turned her focus to modeling and acting. Her first two movies she received recognition and was awarded her the Golden Globe Award as Most Popular Young Actress. MacGraw became an international superstar after her film Love Story, which earned an Academy Award nomination as well as an award from the Golden Globe. In just three films, MacGraw was declared one of the most successful women film in the history of box offices. In Grauman's Chinese Theater in the year 1972, she had her signature and hand-footprints engraved. In addition to The Getaway Convoy Players she was also in the TV miniseries The Winds of War. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw is married three times.
